Both of them are enjoying fairly good health and were able to celebrate having all of their nine children, six girls and three boys present. All the children are married except one boy on the home farm. About 100 people in the neighborhood and some of their old friends called on them during the day. Lunch was served in the afternoon. Henry Zahn and Ida Ohm, who was born in Germany were married in 1901 and moved to a farm in Grant county northwest of Nassau. Henry was born in Illinois and during his life he has lived on about a dozen different farms including some in Nebraska, South Dakota, and the western area of Minnesota. Mr. and Mrs. Zahn live on a farm which they just arrived this fall six miles north of Ortonville.
