HARRIS, John Dr. and Mrs.
Dr. and Mrs. John W. Harris of Morris are both dead as a result of a car 
accident near Alberta Saturday night.
Dr. Harris, 92, who was an Ortonville dentist in the early days, was 
killed instantly.  His wife, 82, died Wednesday morning without regaining 
consciousness.
Their car hit the end of a pickup truck which was turning left just at 
dusk Saturday on highway 28.
Dr. and Mrs. Harris were an uncle and aunt of Mary Shumaker and a 
brother-in-law of Mrs. George Shumaker of Ortonville.
According to the Wilmar Tribune Dr. Harris had a record of practicing 
dentistry longer than any dentist in the history of the state if not the 
nation.
