Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Georgianna Gray Friday March 24, 1911 Graceville Enterprise Graceville, Big Stone County, MN Obituary for Ann McDonald Mrs. John McDonald died at her home southwest of here Wednesday March 15, of pneumoia. She was born in County Cavan, Ireland and came to this country when an infant with her parents. She lived in Ohio and Iowa, being married at St. Joe, IA in 1880. After her marriage she lived at Algona, IA until 1902, when the family moved here. She is survived by her husband and four children, Arthur and Mrs. William Welch of Graceville, MN, Mrs. A.B. Betts of Ortonville, MN, and Mrs. O. Horen of Laurel, Montana. Other relatives who survive her are Mrs. Ed Turner, Mrs. J.V. Harrington, Mrs. F. Petted and Patrick Hoy, all of Iowa, A.D. Hoy of St. Mary's, Kansas, and F.M. Hoy of Auburn, NY. The funeral was held March 18 from the Holy Rosary Church, Rev. Father Ryan celebrating Mass. Interment was in Lakeside Cemetery.
