She was taken sick Thursday with pneumonia, and sunk rapidly. She was eighty-four years of age, and had been a resident of the state since the ffifties, residing in Mankato the greater part of that time. Her husband died twenty-two years ago, but she is survived by two sons and one daughter, S. W. Burgess, O. Burgess, and Mrs. Chas. Sanborn, all of this city. The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church, and was loved by all who knew her. The funeral will occur from the house at two o'clock tommorow afternoon.
