Elisha Adams PARKS (b. 1814 NH, d. 1881 MN) Early pioneer and resident of Blue Earth County, MN Source #1: Newspaper Mankato Review; 10 January 1882 Page 6: Column 2; Reads as follows: - Capt. E. A. Parks, who has resided in Vernon Center [township, Section 19] since 1857, died in that township on the 31st of December [1881], from injuries received in a fall some days previous, and his funeral took place on Tuesday last. The captain was in this city several weeks previous and was apparently in good health. [Born in South Acworth, Sullivan County, NH. Buried in the Garden City Cemetery, Blue Earth County, MN (grave is to the left side about 1/3 of the distance back from the eastern most front gate).
