Announcement: James Waldens Observer 50th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. James Walden, North Sixth, observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary Sunday. Dinner was served at noon at the Delroy Hotel for the faimly, grandchildren and great-grandchaildren. Tables were decorated with flowers and a two-tier wedding cake served as the center piece. Ada Williams daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Williams, and James Walden son of the late Mr. and Mrs. DavidWalden, were married at Bloomington, Illinois, October 2, 1899. Both are natives of Leroy, Illinois. After making their home in Illinois for three years following their marriage, they moved to Iowa where they lived for 13 years. They came to Sleepy Eye in 1916 and have resided here since.
