PHILIP DORN Mrs. Philip Dorn, 65, died at a local hospital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. She had been a patient there since Oct. 15. Funeral services were conducted in St. Mary's Catholic church Tuesday at 9 a.m. Mrs. Dorn was a member of the St. Margaret Society of St. Mary's church. Mary Jutz was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Jutz and was born in Brighton township, Feb. 19, 1884. She grew to womanhood there and was married to Philip Dorn, Jan. 11, 1910. Mr. Dorn died Oct. 24, 1948. Mrs. Dorn is survived by the following children: Mrs. Daynor (Marcella) Olson, Minneapolis; Mrs. Fred (Modesta) Steinberg, New Ulm; Mrs. Frank (Ermalinda) Weller, Springfield; Mrs. Harley (Beradette) Grossman, Searles; Valerius Dorn, New Ulm; Floyd Dorn, New Ulm, and Loyle Dorn, St. Paul. There are 11 grandchildren. Relatives from out of town who attended the final rites were: Mrs. Steve Buss, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Mathias, and Mrs. D. Potts and J.P. Dorn of Des Moines, Iowas; Mr. and Mrs. B.N. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. P.M. Dorn and son Peter, Fort Dodge, Iowa; and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dorn and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Strochin, Minneapolis, Minn. There were also many relatives and friends from Mankato, Searles, Nicollet and other neighboring towns, present at the services.
