MARGARET MAUCH The death of Mrs. Margaret Mauch, nee Moll, occurred at her home on North Payne street, Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock, following an ex- tended illness. She had been ailing for the past two years with enlarged glands, and was confined to her bed for six weeks until death relieved her. Deceased was nearly 89 years of age, having been born in Wuerttemberg, Germany, April 3, 1836. At the age of about 10 years, she emigrated to America with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moll, and the family located on a homestead, in Washington county, Wis., near Hartford, where deceased was married to Mathias Mauch in 1855. Twelve years later, they came to Brown county and purchased the old Tuttle farm in Milford township, which was the family home until Mr. and Mrs. Mauch retired from farm life and located in New Ulm, 28 years ago. Mr. Mauch preceded his widow in death 13 years ago. Deceased was the mother of three children, namely, Mrs. Mathias Hillesheim, Sleepy Eye; Henry Mauch, Hetland, S. D., and George Mauch, New Ulm. She also leaves one stepson, Lawrence Mauch, of Sundance, Wyo., 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and the following three brothers to mourn her de- mise: Henry Moll, Sr., New Ulm; Conrad Moll, Sleepy Eye, and Albert Moll, residing on the old homestead near Hartford, Wis. Obsequies will be held at Turner hall, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, following which interment will be made in the City cemetery here.
