Paper - November 3, 1915 MRS. OTTO RADKE Death came as a relief to Mrs. Otto Radke at her home on North Broadway Monday noon. For three years and six months she had been afflicted with cancer of the stomach and for a long time had suffered excruciating pain. Everything was done to save her life but without avail. The deceased whose maiden name was Emilie Werner was born in New Ulm May 16, 1873 and was therefore only 42 years old when she died. She attended the public schools and grew to womanhood here in New Ulm. In 1896 on the 11th of November she was married to Otto Radke. Immediately after their marriage the moved onto a farm in the Town of Milford where she resided continuously until the fall of 1914 when they were forced, on account of her illness, to give up active farm life and moved to New Ulm. Mrs. Radke is survived by her husband and two daughters, Elsie and Alwina who are both at home. She is also survived by her aged mother, Mrs. Minnie Werner, and a sister, Mrs. Jas. Morrison, of Minneapolis. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock with the services at the house and thereafter at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Rev. Albrecht officiating. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery.
