SOUKUP, 39, DIES; FUNERAL TO BE WEDNESDAY Mrs. Victor Soukup, 39, resident of Sigel township, died in a local hospital Friday at 4:15 p.m. She had been in failing health for some time. Funeral services will be held in Holy Trinity Catholic church Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery. Members of the St. Elizabeth society, of which Mrs. Soukup was a member, will have prayers at the Holy Trinity church Sunday at 2 p.m. Prayers will also be said at the Soukup home in Sigel township Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. Agnes Berg, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Berg, Sr., early residents of Sigel township, was born there July 11, 1905. She grew to womanhood on the Berg farm and was married to Victor J. Soukup May 28, 1930, in St. Mary's Catholic church, in Sleepy Eye. Mr. and Mrs. Soukup took up their residence on a farm in Sigel township and have since made this farm their home. Mrs. Soukup is survived by her husband and two daughters, Dorothy and Carol. She is also survived by her aged mother, Mrs. John Berg, Sr., of this city. Surviving brothers and sisters are, John Berg, Jr., Milford; George Berg, Florian Berg, Roman Berg and Leonard Berg, Sigel township; Mrs. Anton Braulick, Stark, and Mrs. Robert Wilfahrt, Sigel.
