Funeral services will held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be in Home cemetary. Rev. D.F. Lyon will officiate. The bodymay be viewed at the Schwartz funeral home from Thursday afternoon until the hour of the funeral. Deceased ws born in Leroy, IL, June 27, 1876 and grew to manhood in the community. He was married at Lerot October 2, 1899 to Ada Williams who preceded him in death three years ago. They lived in Havelock, IA for a few years and then moved to Lucan where they lived until 39 years ago when they came to Sleepy Eye. He is survived by the following children: Lawerenc, Harold, and Elsie (Mrs Willaim Peterson) Sleepy Eye; Thomas East Chicago, Ind; Herman, New Ulm; Dorothy (Mrs Eddie Bastian) Fairfax; and Ruth (Mrs Ambose Mathiowetz) Franklin. Thre are 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He also leaves the following brother and sisters; Geroge Denver, Colo; Mrs FrancisSmalley, Mormal Ill; Benjamin, Leroy Ill, Mrs Ollie Emery, Ithaca, Mich; Mrs Effe Moss, Kankakee, ILL; and Mrs Ellie Mckenzie, Denver, Colo.
