WIEDENMANN, 80, DIES TODAY SLEEPY EYE - Mrs. Paul Wiedenmann, 80, native of Milford township, died at 6:30 a.m. in the Municipal hospital. She had been ill for a week and a half. Funeral arrangements are being made. Rickie Gareis, daughter of the pioneer settlers Mr. and Mrs. John Gareis, was born July 28, 1873 in Milford township. She grew to womanhood on the home farm and was married to Paul Wiedenmann in 1899 in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. They took up their residence in Echo and lived there until 1912, when they moved to Sleepy Eye. Wiedenmann died in 1935. Mrs. Wiedenmann is survived by one son, Herbert, Akron, Ohio, and two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Irma) Schwieger, Sleepy Eye, and Miss Loneda, at home. There are four grandchildren. She was the last of her family.
