FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Pamela Kebis Submitted: March 2004 ========================================================================= New Ulm Journal - April 26, 1951 HUGO WINDHORN DIES AT AGE 68 Hugo Windhorn, 68, of 818 North Minnesota street, died at a New Ulm hospital at 12:50 a.m. today. He had been a patient there since April 21. Mr. Windhorn had been in failing health for some time. Funeral arrangements will be announced in the Daily Journal Friday. Hugo Windhorn, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Windhorn, was born near Swan Lake, Feb. 17, 1883. He grew to manhood on the farm and was married to Miss Anna Juenemann in September, 1905. The family has resided at 818 North Minnesota street for a number of years. Mr. Windhorn retired from active work several years ago, because of poor health. Previous to that time he had served as a bartender in a New Ulm tavern. Mr. Windhorn is survived by his widow and two sons, Delmar and Stanley, of New Ulm. There are three grandchildren. A brother, Arthur Windhorn, New Ulm, and a sister, Bertha Weick, Lake City, also survive.
