Platzer of Young America town Joseph Platzer of this village Mrs. Katie Schmitz of California, who was at the bedside of her mother when the end came. The father departed this life some eight years ago. Mrs. Platzer suffered much through sickness, having been stricken by a paralytic stroke some six years ago. For the past eight months she has been confined to her bed. Deceased was a faithful member of the church. Not only faithful in believing that it was her duty as a Christian to do the will of her master at all times. She was always ready to lend a helping hand in time of need--both in acts of kindness and in words. The funeral occurs from the Catholic Church at Norwood today (Friday) at 10 o'clock.
