Note from Submitter:
Mrs. H. K. Wright is my paternal grandmother.  Hiram K. Wright is my paternal 
grandfather.  Mrs. Joseph Resch is the mother of Mrs. H. K. (Anna) Wright.  
They are all buried together with Joseph Resch (I haven't located his 
obituary yet) in Pine Grove Cemetery in Cass Lake, Cass County, Minnesota.

MRS. HOMER DUGAS PASSED AWAY SEPT. 15TH, 1979:

Mrs. Homer W. Dugas (Clara), a member of a pioneer family of Cass Lake, and a 
resident of Cass Lake for nearly 75 years, passed away on Saturday, September 
15th, 1979, at the Bemidji Hospital Nursing Unit, where she has been for the 
past 7 1/2 years.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 17, 1979, at 2:00 p.m. at St. 
Charles Catholic Church, Cass Lake, with the Rev. Father Mudrak officiating.

Rosary was held Sunday evening, September 16, 1979, at 8:00 p.m. at the Cass 
Lake Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were: Joseph Dugas, John Neises, Peter Neises, Richard Baird, 
Thomas Perrizo, Tim Jones.

Clara Elizabeth Resch was born August 12, 1889, at Park Rapids, Minnesota, to 
Joseph and Barbara Resch.  She came to Cass Lake when a girl in her teens.  
She was united in marriage to Homer W. Dugas, a member of one of the early 
Cass Lake families.

She had been a faithful and active member of St. Charles Catholic Church, St. 
Mary's Altar Society, the Garden Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son Joseph Dugas of Minneapolis; and five daughters, 
Mrs. John McFarland (Barbara) of Farmington, New Mexico; Mrs. Henry Perrizo 
(Margaret) of Oconto, Wisconsin; Mrs. Richard Neises (Mary), Cass Lake; Mrs. 
Richard Baird (Katie), Cass Lake; Mrs. Farmer (Elaine) of Ventura, 
California; and by 34 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer W. Dugas and a son, Thomas.
