Hicks, enlisted in the US Army Military: Fort Brag, Fayetteville, NC 82nd Airborne Infantry Division 7 years Married: Violet E. Hicks on March 5th, 1949 1956: Kaiserslatern, West Germany 1957: Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX 1958: Korea 13 months then back to Texas 1963: Nurnberg, West Germany 1966: Texas 1968: Retired US Army and moved back to Remer, MN L.P. Gas business for 28 years Survived by: wife daughter and husband two sons and their wives one sister one brother an dhis wife four grandsons two grand-daughters two great grand-daughters, one great grand-son many nieces and nephews Preceded in death: his parents brother, Raymond K.
