THEODORE AND ETHEL BUTENHOFF



  Theodore (Toad) Butenhoff is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Butenhoff, 

who farmed near Baker. Toad was born in Iowa and came to the Baker area 

in 1902 with his family. He married Ethel Poehls, daughter of Mr. and 

Mrs. Ernest Poehls of Sabin. They farm south of Sabin in Section 19 of 

Elmwood Township. Their children are: Viviette - Mrs. Vern Haugtvedt. 

They farm in the Ullen area. They have two children, Eric and Kim. Lila 

(Mrs. Carroll Stubstad), Fargo. They have two children, Mark and Matthew. 

Teddy is married to Vona Littler. They live in Moorhead and have three 

children, Carrie, Stacy and Ted Jr. Roy and Alma at home. Donald passed 

away at the age of 19.
