Clay County Family Album

A History of Rural Clay County, MN, 1976



  William (Bill) Butenhoff was the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Butenhoff. 

On Nov. 16, 1915 he married Ida Stock, daughter of Adam and Amelia (Bier) 

Stock. She was born Oct. 2, 1892 at Albany, Minn. where she grew to 

womanhood. She came to the Sabin-Baker area in 1912. They farmed near 

Baker until 1954 when they retired and moved into Barnesville. They had 

one son, David, who passed away Nov. 25, 1961. He was married to Jean 

Gibbart, and they had six children.

  Bill passed away Jan. 31, 1960 and Ida died July 29, 1967.
