POSSEHL Chet Possehl is employed by the State of Minnesota as an Agronomy Field Supervisor. For some years he was a progressive farmer in the Baker area. Chet was the first Minnesotan to receive the Soil Conservation Award in a national contest sponsored by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. To quote: "Conservation practices used by Possehl include crop rotation, stubble mulch tillage, a farmstead shelterbelt, use of commercial fertilizer according to the University of Minnesota and district recommendations, and individual farm drainage." The Possehls have two sons and a daughter. Michael married Cheryl Eugene of Bismark. They have two children, Kari and Kyle. Mike is employed by the Burroughs Adding Machine Company. This family lives in Fargo. Patricia married Bill Redick. She is a technician at the University Hospitals, Minneapolis. Ronald is studying Business Administration at the University of Minnesota. Chet grew up on the farm of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Possehl.
