They raised small grains and potatoes on their farm in Section 3 of Alliance Township. They had two children: Evelyn who is Married to Karl Getz and lives on the home farm in Alliance Township, and Marvin Lyle who passed away at 17 months. They also brought up Lyle Anderson who now lives in Escondido, California.
