Barnesville, Minn.

Arnold E. Butenhoff, 77, Barnesville, died Friday, Oct. 9, 1998, in his 

home.



Mr. Butenhoff was born March 21, 1921, near Baker, Minn., where he grew 

up. He attended school in Baker and in Barnesville, where he graduated 

from high school in 1938. He farmed near Barnesville until he retired in 

1984.



He is survived by a brother, Laurence (Beverly), Baker; and three 

sisters, Matilda Possehl, Alexandria, Minn., Cecelia (Desmond) Jerde, 

Britton, S.D., Avis Butenhoff, Fargo.



VISITATION: Monday from 4 to 8, with a prayer service at 7, in Dobmeier 

Funeral Home, Barnesville, and Tuesday from 9 to 11 in the church.



FUNERAL: Tuesday at 11 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Sabin, Minn.



BURIAL: Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sabin.
