BUTENHOFF OBIT, #705 The Fargo Forum Sun., 1/15/1995 Delores E. Butenhoff The funeral for Delores E. Butenhoff, 66, Pelican Rapids, Minn., formerly Comstock, Minn., will be at 11 Tuesday in Comstock Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 Monday, with a prayer service at 7, in Dobmeier Funeral Home, Barnesville, Minn., and two hours before services in the church. She died Friday, Jan. 13, 1995. Delores Carlson was born June 3, 1928, in Comstock, where she grew up and attended school. She married Melvin Butenhoff Oct. 26, 1946, in Comstock. They lived in Fargo and returned to Comstock in the late 1940s. She was a cook for Comstock schools until 1956. From 1957 to 1968 she was a weigh master for American Crystal Sugar. In 1962, they moved near Baker, Minn. They retired in 1974 and moved near Pelican Rapids. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Peggy Jean Butenhoff, Baker; her mother, Delia Carlson, Moorhead; and a brother, Loren, Comstock. ========================================================================= Copyright Don Hansen 2006.
