BUTENHOFF OBIT, #901T Milton, son of Henry and Edith (Canopy) Butenhoff, was born November 2, 1917 at home near Baker Minnesota. He attended school in Moorhead, Minnesota and grew up in the Baker area. He began working for Armour and Company in West Fargo, North Dakota where he worked for many years. He married Murial Tangen in 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They made their home and farmed near Baker. He retired in 1981. He continued to live near Baker until 1993 when he became a resident of Rosewood on Broadway in April of this year. Milton was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead. He had a great love for his children. He loved farming and the raising of potatoes. He also enjoyed airplanes hand horses. He is survived by two sons and four daughters, Marlin (Betty) Butenhoff of Leonard, ND, Judy (Niel) Stenshoel of Fargo,ND, Roger Butenhoff of Barnesville,Cheryl (Dean) Bogie of Stillwater, MN, Laura (Alan) Johnson of Glyndon, MN and Lisa Butenhoff of Fargo, ND; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Arlene (Art) Berge of Bottineau, ND and Ardis Sanders of Moorhead, MN.
