Marjorie Butenhoff Martin, 81, Santa Cruz, died Tuesday, June 1, 1999 in Santa Cruz. Marjorie Butenhoff was born July 10, 1918. She lived in Baker, Minn. In 1938 she graduated from the School for the Deaf in Faribault, Minn. In January 1939 she married Augustus Pederson. They were active with the Association for the Deaf in Fargo for many years. In 1964 he died and she moved to California. She later married Edwardo Martin. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Pehkonen, Doris Littlefield, both of Santa Cruz; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
