Possehl, 49, who had farmed near here, will be at 2 Tuesday in Trinity Lutheran Church of which he was a member, the Rev. I. M. Bade officiating. Mr. Possehl died Saturday after being ill for some time. Born in Lattimore, Iowa, March 2, 1909, he grew to manhood there and came to Clay County, where he married Mathilda Butenhoff, Sept. 14, 1941. They made their home in Moorhead six months, and Mr. Possehl then entered the service in World War II, serving four years. After his return they farmed near here until his final illness. Besides his wife he leaves five daughters, Sharon, Marian, Jean, Diane and Darlene; three brothers, Floyd of Duluth, Oscar of Minneapolis and Edgar of Portland, Ore., and two sisters, Esther Possehl, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Ray Olson, Minneapolis.
