In 1943 they moved to a farm by Cottonwood, MN. Janet was employed by North American Life and Casualty Insurance Company until 1954 when she married Milford (Jesse) Johnson on October 2nd, 1954. In 1989 she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. It was a slow progressing kind so she had been able to do a lot of things for herself. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church since 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Emma Carlson. Survived by husband "Jesse," children Sandy, Tammy (Tony), Bryan (Gail), granchildren Alicia, Justin, Joshua, Jeremy and brothers Cletus (Lorraine) and Gordon (Elsie).
