Family research as of February 2013
David Russ Ganfield was born October 16, 1931 at St Paul, Hennepin, Minnesota 
to parents (the Honorable Judge) Roy William Ganfield and Luella May Russ 
(Ganfield).  He had two older brothers, Roy William II (born August 27, 1923 
Blue Earth, Faribault, MN, died June 21, 1998 Mansfield, Richland, Ohio) and 
John Frederick Ganfield (born July 4, 1927 Blue Earth, Faribault, MN, died 
1991 Hastings, Dakota, MN.) 

David attended the University of Minnesota. He served in the US Army from 1954-
56. 

Found in the 1940 census living at Hastings, Dakota, Minnesota: Roy Ganfield 
45, Mae Ganfield 42, William Ganfield 16, Jack Ganfield 12, David Ganfield 8.

David married Muriel Eberlin Davis on December 28, 1956 at Minnesota; the 
couple had 2 sons. The family lived at Whitewater, Wisconsin. 

David Russ Ganfield died March 25, 1986 at possibly Deerfield, Lake, Illinois 
where his son, David Jr lived.
