Family research as of February 2013
John Frederick Ganfield was born July 4, 1927 at Blue Earth, Faribault, 
Minnesota to Roy William Ganfield and Luella May Russ, the second of their 3 
sons. He went by the nickname Jack. 

He attended the University of Minnesota; a photo of him appears in the 1949 
yearbook. 

John died October 20, 1991 at Hastings, Dakota, Minnesota and is buried at the 
Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings, Dakota, Minnesota beside his parents.

Found in the 1930, 1940 censuses living at Hastings, Dakota, Minnesota: 
1930: Ray W Ganfield 35, Ray (should be May) R Ganfield 32, Roy W Ganfield 6, 
John F Ganfield 2[2 8/12]. 

1940: Roy Ganfield 45, Mae Ganfield 42, William Ganfield 16, Jack Ganfield 12, 
David Ganfield 8.
