Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Faith M Walsh Obituary in Dakota County Tribune - December 29, 1911 Died After a lingering illness of four weeks of pneumonia, Lillian Agnes Walsh at her tender age of fifteen years, was called to her Heavenly home, on Monday De. 18th, 1911. Gone yes but not forgotten. A flower that was about to bloom taken from its earthly surroundings, home and friends. Her gentleness and kindness and sublime character were as a sunbeam at her home and with her many friends. The loss is hard to bear, but is overshadowed by the beautiful Christain life she led here below and that He the Creator of all things has seen fit to call her to her just reward. her kind acts and deeds will keep her grave green in the hearts of her friends and will be watered with their tears. And as her flower laden coffin was carried to the grave, it was headed by her school-mates and with slow step and tear stained cheeks gave mute evidence of the love and esteem that the memory of her past cheerfulness and kindness that is held in their hearts. Her heartbroken parents and family have the sympathy of the entire community in this their sad loss. The funeral was held Wednesday, Dec. 20, 1911. Rev. L. Cosgrove officiating. May her soul rest in peace.
