JENNIE LYNCH PASSED AWAY MONDAY The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon. "Mrs. Jennie Lynch, sixteenth child of Matthew and Mary Ann Harmer, was born in Green Lake County, Wis., on February 3, 1858, and died of a paralytical stroke on November 26, 1928, at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 25 days. When a young girl she came with her parents to Minnesota and for a time they made their home near New Ulm. Because of the warlike Indians there at that time they moved to Dodge County. She was married to Dennis Lynch on December 25, 1876, making their home on a farm in Ashland township, then moving into Dodge Center where they resided for the past twenty years. On December 25, 1926, they celebrated their golden wedding. Mrs. Lynch joined the Presbyterian Church at an early age, and since coming to Dodge Center has been a faithful member of the Congregational Church. She was also a member of the Rebekkah Lodge. She leaves to mourn her loss her aged husband, and five brothers, Thomas Harmer of Parker, Colo., William of San Diego Cal., Albert of Claremont, Minn., Jessie of Northfield, Minn., and Richard of Santa Anna, Cal., besides a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the home and 2:00 o'clock from the Congregational Church, Rev. Arthur Thomson officiating. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. We wish to express our thanks to the many friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy during the illness and bereavement of our wife and sister. Dennis Lynch, Albert Harmer, Jesse Harmer" (Source: Dodge County Star Thursday, November 29, 1928, page 1)
