Marriage: July 24, 1872 Spouse: Gottlieb Goettel (d.1897) Age 12 came to MN then, Iowa after marriage nad Blue Earth in 1905 Member: Evangelical Church most of her life, over 68 years Three of her brothers were ministers in the Minnesota Conference of the Evangelical Church and two of her daughters, Mrs. Clara Sydow and Mrs. Esther Doescher, are married to ministers. Survivors: one brother, John Schmidt of St. Charles Children: Aaron Goettel Mrs. Laura Hacklander Mrs. Clara Sydow of Blue Earth Mrs. Minna Franklin of Elmore Mrs. Anetta Roggensack of Moorehead, Minn. Mrs. Esther Doescher of San Diego, Calif. Dan Goettel of Lansing, Iowa 27 grandchildren 28 great grandchildren, One daughter, Mrs. Fred Gust, preceded her in death Funeral services: Salem Evangelical Church at 2:00 P.M.
