FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Deana Steel Submitted: February 2006 ========================================================================= Elmore Eye Sept. 25, 1969 Albert Ferch, 55 Passed Away Monday Albert Ferch. a life long resident of Elmore, passed away at United Hosptal at Blue Earth on Monday morning at the age of 55. Although he had been in ill health for several years, he was hospitalized on Saturday morning. Mr. Ferch was born at Elmore on November 3rd, 1913 and attended school at Elmore, On June 21st, 1940 he married Marjorie Erickson and they have lived in Elmore since that time. He was employed by Nehring Implement, Zufall Construction for several years was employed by the Village of Elmore. He had been unable to work the past couple years. Surviving besides his wife are six children: Arline, Mrs. Donald Hatfield of Madelia; Daniel Ferch of Marshfield, Wisconsin; Frances, Mrs. Heinie Burrows of Ledyard; Rosemary, Mrs. Robert Edwards, address unknown; Ivan Ferch, abourd the U.S.S. McKean with the U.S. Navy; and Ruby at home. Three children preceeded him in death. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Pearl Sleper and three sisters, Olga Ferch of Des Moines, Iowa; Esther McCormick of Story City, Iowa and Anna, address unknown. There are 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wicks Feneral Home in Elmore with Rev. Robert James officiating.
