E. P. Hovland Dies at 75 Years
Another old citizen and early settler has passed from this life to his home 
beyond.  Einer P. Hovland who has been a resident near Frost for the past 67 
years died at his home one mile east of that village, in the town of Emerald, 
May 25th, 1931, at 1:30 p.m.
Deceased was born April 7, 1856, and had therefore attained the age of 75 years, 
one month and 18 days.  His wife had preceded him in death 35 years ago.
He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in 1872 by the veteran pastor, T. H. 
Dahl.
The funeral was held at the Frost Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. H. O. 
Mosby, and was largely attended.  Interment was made in Emerald cemetery.
