Cora Kallestad Rites Wednesday at So. Blue Earth
Mrs. Cora Kallestad, 93, Frost, died Monday, January 21, 1974.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, January 23, 1974, at South Blue Earth 
Church, rural Bricelyn.  Rev. William Loughmiller officiated.  Mrs. Ronald 
Jacobson was organist and Reuben Gudahl, soloist.
Casket bearers were Abdeil Wangen, George Wangen, Gregory Thompson, James 
Wangen, Gene Wangen, Gary Brekke.
Interment was at South Blue Earth Cemetery with the Lee Funeral Home in charge.
A native of North Dakota, she was born May 3, 1881 at Hillsborough to Einer and 
Marie Hovland.  She was married to Abdeil Kallestad November 12, 1902.  She was 
a member of the South Blue Earth Lutheran Church.
Her husband died in September of 1955.  Also three sons preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph and Ernest both of Frost; three daughters:  
Mrs. Alvin (Marie) Wangen of Blue Earth, Mrs. Clara DeBoer and Mrs. Maurice 
(Mable) Hanson both of Frost; a brother, Eugene of Mora; three sisters, Mrs. 
Carl (Josie) Dorr of Big Fork, Mrs. Rosella Lee and Mabel Hovland both of Mora; 
16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
