The following is a former resident of Elmore, Faribault County, 

Minnesota. It is written with press type-o. There will be more obits of the 

children of Gus and Pearl (Dobson) Ferch.

Esther Ruth McCormick, 60, Story City, died Tuesday at the Story City 

Hospital.



Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday from Bethany Manor Chapel,Story 

City, with the Rev. M.C. Hagedorn officiating. A graveside service will be 

held at 2:30 p.m., Friday at Riverview Cemetary, Elmore, Minn.



Miss McCormick was born July 8, 1911, at Elmore, Minn. She had workedat 

Bethany Manor, for 10 years, retiring in 1971.



Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Pearl Ferch; and a sister, Olga Ferch of 

Des Moines. She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and her 

father.
