After an illness lasting more than a year, Mrs. C. W. Ransom passed away at her home on Cherry Street at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The deceased has lived in Albert Lea for many years and has scores of friends who will mourn with her only son John in his loss. The funeral will take place from the home at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Olmstead of Minneapolis a very dear friend of the deceased will conduct the service. A more extended account of the life of the deceased will be given in an early issue of the Tribune. Mrs. C. R. Ransom the aged mother of Ransom Bros., of this city who sustained a partial stroke of paralysis Wednesday shortly after the noonday meal, died this morning. Mrs. Ransom was about 80 years of age, and has been in very poor health since her first stroke of paralysis about seven months ago.
