Obituary in Ashby Tribune, (Grant Co.) MN -- Fri., May 9, 1884:

    The wife of Chauncey Whiting, Jr., of Clitheral, died, and yesterday 
was buried.  She was greatly esteemed by her friends and leaves a husband 
and two sorrowing children.  She had been sick about two months.
