CARSON - Vol III, pg 458, 459 One of the prominent young attorneys of Minneapolis is Harry S. Carson, a member of the firm of Brown & Guesmer. He was born in this city, on the 6th of December, 1886, a son of Henry C. and Anna (Curtner) Carson. They located in Minneapolis in 1884 and the father is still living here. Mrs. Carson died in March, 1919. Harry S. Carson was the only child born to their union. He received his prelim­inary education in the public schools of this city and in early life determined to enter the legal profession. As a result he enrolled in the law department of the University of Minnesota and was graduated in 1908, with the LL. B. degree. He immediately began practice with Brown & Guesmer and in 1918 became a member of the firm. The political allegiance of Mr. Carson is given to the republican party and the principles for which it stands. Along strictly professional lines he holds membership in the State and County Bar Associations. In a profession where advancement depends upon individual merit he has achieved substantial success and enjoys the confidence and esteem of all who know him. He is unmarried.
