Marion Daniel Shutter, D.D., LL.D.; Volume I - Shutter (Historical); volume II - Biographical; volume III - Biographical ======================================================== Vol II, pg 776-777 FELIX MOSES Felix Moses, a successful young attorney of Minneapolis, is rapidly winning for himself a place among the able and representative members of the profession in this city. His birth occurred in Jordan, Minnesota, on the 22d of December, 1897, his parents being Meyer and Rebecca (Edelman) Moses, both of whom are natives of Russia. In the year 1890 they emigrated to the United States and took up their abode at Jordan, Minnesota, where they continued to reside until their removal to Minneapolis, where the father is now actively engaged in business as a merchant. In the acquirement of an education Felix Moses attended the public schools of his native city, passing through consecutive grades until he had completed the high school course as a member of the graduating class of 1914. In preparation for a professional career he continued his studies in the University of Minnesota, which institution conferred upon him the degree of Bachelor of Arts in 1918, and that of LL. B. in 1920. Admitted to the Minnesota bar in the latter year, he at once entered upon the practice of law in Minneapolis, where he has remained and has already built up an important and gratifying clientage. He possesses comprehensive knowledge of the principles of jurisprudence and his devotion to the interests of his clients is proverbial. Mr. Moses was married November 2, 1922, to Angeline Wilk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wilk of Fargo, North Dakota. During the period of the World war Mr. Moses spent several months in the service of his country. He is a worthy exemplar of the Masonic order, also belongs to the B'nai B'rith and is identified with the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity, while along strictly professional lines he has membership relations with the Minneapolis Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association. He resides at No. 3953 Bryant avenue, South, and maintains his offices in the McKnight building in Minneapolis.
