Subsequently he became a clerk for Siegebaum Brothers on Washington avenue and remained in their employ eight years, at the termination of which time he became associated with R. S. Goodfellow for ten years. He then became buyer of silks and dress goods for the Wyman, Partridge Company and after being active in that capacity for about twenty years he turned his attention to looking after his extensive real estate interests here, the supervision of which makes full demand upon his time and energies.
