  In the divorce court yesterday morning Judge Canty,
the case of Lizette Petty against Fred H. Petty was
called. Her husband was well known in local circles
some years ago, at which time he was in the employ
of the American Building and Loan Company. He had
left her and gone to Tennessee, and she had failed
to hear from him since, except when she had been
informed that he had another wife and child in that
state. She was given a divorce.
Ella M. Knaeble was granted a divorce from 
Frank W. Knaeble because he had been false to her.
Sina Sheen proved to Judge Hicks that Daniel Sheen
had been cruel to her, and she was divorced in
short order. Caroline Krueger, an elderly lady,
wanted alimony and attorney's fees from John
Krueger, who is over seventy years of age but it
was shown that he was taking care of the children
and the motion was denied. Katie Macht was granted
alimony from her husband, John Macht, pending the
action.
