"Death Ends Suffering" Mrs. Christina Christopherson Kampstad Hoel died at the local hospital Sunday morning, August, 26, after an illness of many months from heart trouble. Deceased was born in Hedemarken, Stang Prestigjeld, Norway, Oct. 18, 1857 and raised to womanhood in her native land. March 16, 1883 she was united in marriage to Lars Hoel. In October 1886 she with her two children came to this country to meet her husband here, and settled at La Crosse, later coming to Spring Grove. She is survived by her husband and eight children, Lena(Mrs. Ole Vaage), Laura (Mrs. Magnus Getson), Oscar, Carl, Leonard, Minnie, Olga, and Theressa. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Grandu of Leeds, N.D. Funeral was held Wednesday from the Spring Grove Lutheran church; the remains were laid to rest in the Spring Grove cemetery. Rev. A. O.
