All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Isanti County News Isanti County, Minnesota Thursday, January 4, 1990 Alice Kunzer Alice Engeborg Kunzer, 87, of Bloomington, formerly of Isanti, died at Fairview-Southdale Hospital on December 24, 1989. Services were held Dec. 27 from the Strike Funeral Chapel in Isanti with Rev. David Gerhardt officiating. Burial was in Aetna Cemetery in Athens Township. She was born in Isanti on March 27, 1902, to John and Brita Norberg. She grew up in the Isanti area and on April 6, 1931, married Albert Kunzer. They lived first in Isanti and then in Hibbing for 18 years. In 1959 they returned to Isanti and then moved to Bloomington in 1979. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Bloomington. She is survived by her husband, Albert of Bloomington; son, James Norberg and his wife Jean of Vancouver, Wash., LeRoy F. Kunzer and his wife Arlene of Bloomington, Donald Kunzer and his wife Darlene of Cambridge and Dennis Kunzer of Bloomington; daughters, Leola (Mrs. Robert) Tindal of Palisade, Minn,. and Donna (Mrs. Orville) Wertz of Chisholm, Minn.; 20 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John E. Norberg and by three brothers and three sisters. At the funeral, Howard Doble, accompanied by Mrs. Almus Brellenthin, sang "How Great Thou Art" and " Just A Closer Walk With Thee." Pallbearers were Leonard Kunzer, LeRoy Kunzer Jr., Mark Kunzer, Danny Norberg, Charles Tindal and Robert Tindal Jr.
