Anna never married, nor had children. Found in the 1900 - 1920 censuses living on a farm at Columbia, Polk, Minnesota: 1900: Hans Rotness 58, Katherina Rotness 45, Janna Rotness 17, John Rotness 10, Ann 10, Anna Rotness 7, Laura Rotness 5, Hilma Rotness 1. June 24, 1905: Anna Rotnes age 12. 1910: Hans Rotnes 68, Katrine Rotnes 55, John Rotnes 20, Anna Rotnes 17, Laura Rotn Rotnes 14, Hilma Rotnes 11. 1920: Hans Rotness 79, Katrine Rotness 64, Johnny Rotness 30, Anna Rotness 26, Hi Hilma Rotness 20. After her mother died in 1920 and her father died in 1927, Anna was moved to the State Colony for Epileptics - later known as the Cambridge, MN State Hospital. Found in the 1930 census living as a patient at the State Colony for Epileptics at C at Cambridge, Isanti, Minnesota: Anna Roteness age 37. Anna Rotness died on July 27, 1937 at Cambridge, Isanti, Minnesota and was bu buried at the Garden of Rememberance, Cambridge, Isanti, Minnesota.
