         LAID A CORNER STONE
  The Ceremony of Setting the Stone for 
        Grand Rapid's High School
   GRAND RAPIDS, Minn., Aug 14,--This afternoon
at 3 o'clock the corner stone of the new high 
school building was laid. There were remarks by
Director T. M. Brady, prayer by Rev. Father
Gamache, short addresses by various citizens,
the laying of the stone and benediction.
   There was deposited in a tin box the following
articles: First copies of the newspapers printed
in Grand Rapids, list of teachers past and 
present.
