SHERIFF CANDIDATES ARE GETTING ACTIVE
     (Range Bureau of the News Tribune.)
   GRAND RAPIDS, June 6.--George Riddle, 
mayore of Grand Rapids, has filed for the
Democratic nomination for sheriff. T. T.
Riley, mayor of Nashwauk was in Grand Rapids
today looking over his political fences. He is
a candidate for the Republican nomination for
the same office.
