Additional Comments: D. M. Gunn, the proprietor of the Hotel Pokegama, is the right man in the right place, and makes losts of friends. The hotel is one of the finest in the state. Mr. Gunn is also a very heavy real estate owner in Minnesota. Little Falls Weekly Transcript Tue Jun 20, 1899 pg 4 Hotel Pokegama, of which Hon. Dan Gunn is proprietor, is a large three-story structure, and funishes accomodations to the traveling publid that cannot be re-called in any but the largest cities. It is supplied througout with hot and cold water, electric lights, electric call system, and in fact with all modern convenience. The decorations and furnishings are handsome and elegant. The village has several hotels, but the Pokegama has a monopoly of the "first-class" patronaage.
