D, 6th Battalion, 20th Engineers; son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Drahota, Jackson, Minn.; entered service December 13, 1917 at St. Paul, Minn.; died in the service February 5, 1918; drowned with the sinking of the Tuscania off the Irish coast while carrying U.S. troops February 5, 1918.
