Moeller - page 13 - photo included Sergeant, Co. C, 3rd Corps, Artillery; son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Moeller, Lakefield, Minn.; entered service at Jackson, Minn.; April 6, 1918. To vocational training camp, Cincinnati, O., April 1918; to Camp Jackson, S.C. June 1918; to Camp Wadsworth, S.C., August 1918 and Newport News in the same month. Arrived overseas Sept. 15, 1918, and took part in Meuse-Argonne offensive where he was gassed. Returned home March 13, 1919, and entered Dental School at Chicago, where he contracted pneumonia and died Jan. 25, 1920. Direct cause of his death was failure to fully recover from effects of gas.
