Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Irene Clough Hahn Kanabec County Times 26 Feb 1920 Mora, MN FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT MILACA Was a Resident of Quamba About 12 Years. Was Buried Saturday. Word reached this village Wednesday, Feb. 18th, of the death of O.A. Edstrom at Milaca. Mr. Edstrom came to this county in 1903, locating at Quamba and remained here until about five years ago, when he went to Milaca to make his home with his son, Ole Edstrom. Mr. Edstrom was born in Sweden on 29th day of Oct., 1847, being over 72 years of age at time of death. He is survived by three sons, two daughters and fifteen grandchildren, also a brother Jonas Edstrom at Two Harbors. Funeral services were held last Saturday at Milaca. Those present at the funeral from this county were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ostrom, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Edstrom, Mr. and Mrs. John Selin, Jonas and Andrew Swanson and Ole Edstrom and Selma Peterson.
